class gathering

shall just blog abit about my weekend..supposed to stay at home to finish my unfinished stuff but ended up procrastinating and doing some other stuff instead.

went for class gathering on sat..heh a total of fifteen pple turned up which was not bad alr lor considering tt it was rather last min. headed to the mind's cafe near dhoby ghaut. it's basically a nice cosy little cafe with lots of board games for you to play with ur friends. the food there was yummy too! ordered a crispy chicken platter for my lunch :)

played the game of life first with all the girls cuz we decided to start with a simpler and no-brainer game since we cant seem to figure out how to play all the other games we picked. and i ended up having the most money in the end! haha accumulated more than $1.4 million in cash lar..excluding all the life cards :)

aft tt we started playing this game called 'first hand' where you basically have to make the hand signals shown on the card displayed. the slowest person to do so will have to take the card and the loser is the one with the most number of cards at the end of the game. i joined in the second round where we decided to work in pairs..paired up with wanling at first and we didnt do too badly i guess. hah but aft tt when i paired with zhixu i started getting abit blur. ended up losing tt round. :P celebrated wanling's bday aft tt with a small brownie for her!

had to rush home aft tt cuz i was going out for dinner with my family. boo if not i could have pooled with the rest. :( but dinner at the thai restaurant along changi village was good too! :) had a ten course meal cuz of some promotion thingy and woah all of us were super full aft tt. heh but the food was good lar.

spent today at my grandma's sis bday celebration at her hse. hah but i played badminton with my bro before tt so i was pretty tired when i got there. ended up watching baby's day out and a lil bit of stuart little 2 on tv before heading home.

two days left to sch and i havent done my physics and math hw. gosh i am so dead. -.-

coda

five more days to the start of school :S having an influx of pre-school blues now..

went for my dental appt yesterday aftnoon. was feeling pretty jittery at first about it cuz of some of the things my dentist told my mom over the phone. something involving a canal root surgery if my teeth still hurt for a few days aft this appt. anyway had two fillings done..force to open my mouth wide for about two hours. pure torture o.0 my whole jaw was pretty numb aft tt too..so couldnt eat for a few hours. and all i had was a piece of cake for breakfast so was super hungry. thanks to xiling who bought me bk!

went for coda aft tt at vch..it's basically a band concert with all the raffles students or alumni playing. thought the whole line-up of songs was rather boring..and many of the songs seems to be repeated frm last yr -.- the only nice part were the ensembles lar. the sax item was quite nice. the pple playing sounds zai.. :) the flutes item was quite pleasant to listen to as well. oh well though the whole concert wasnt exactly fabulous but still..the main reason tt i went was to support my friends who are playing lar..lol

hmm just got a unexpected x'mas card frm yukit a few days ago..and was rather inspired by the what she said in it. yep so i am motivated to follow her advice! haha she said tt i make her sound like some old granny when i thanked her for them.. :)

just a random thing here..was playing with my cousin's n70 nokia phone and i found out tt it's really cool. lol he has sims 2 in his phone! haha though its much simpler than the pc version but still it's super cool! there are loads of other games too..haha makes me want to change to tt phone too! lol just for the games! :P

the season of giving

merry x'mas! :) it's finally christmas today! thanks for all the sms greetings and pretty cards frm everyone!

hmm it doesn't really feel like x'mas today..lol always have this perception that christmas is supposed to be a magical day but when i woke up this morning everything just felt so er...normal. haha quite disappointing actually. boo. was expecting something special to happen. but my whole family is having steamboat for dinner tonight :) so i will be a very happy person tonight.

heh on a side note..i have alr opened all my presents last night and the day before. lol didn't have the patience to wait till christmas. heh got quite a few nice stuff..got a pretty silver bracelet frm my mom, a pink ipod cover frm my aunt among all the presents..

christmas really makes me feel like the year has come to a complete end. am really amazed at how this yr passed so quickly. and it makes me ponder about all the things i have achieved in these twelve months..and about how i have grown up considerably. realize that i am actually a very blessed person..it's just that when you get too caught up in the fast pace of life someimtes..you tend to forget the things that really matters and start taking them for granted. yep..so here's a great thanks to everyone who helped me through this yr in one way or another! :)

x'mas musical

shall blog abit abt the x'mas musical i went at trees' church ytd..quite a few rj pple went too including some that i didnt know as well. the x'mas musical was quite nice and the atmosphere was great too lar..but didnt stay for dinner with the cell aft tt. went off with yunlin to white sands to eat :P

had swensens' for dinner..the food was rather horrible cuz we ordered the set meal. the seafood baked rice that i ate had some gooey yellow sauce on top of the rice which tasted abit weird at first. the only thing i liked was the chocolate ice cream i got for dessert. the both of us yakked until eight plus abt loads of stuff lar..it was like a major catching up session :) must seriously go out together before the hols end!

am seriously dreading the start of school..it will probably be even more hectic than this yr which was alr bad enough for me :S plus there is the syf and a lvls to worry abt..if i managed to pass the auds for guitar that is. faints. so much stuff for me to do and i just cant seem to get down to doing them. boo. hate myself when i procrastinate so much.

boo

heyhey! havent blogged for a few days..been raining heavily for the past few days and my internet got a bit wonky. the connection was seriously lagging so i was too lazy to blog.

been out for the past few days with my mom to do some x'mas shopping. heh went out on mon with her to centrepoint. bought stuff frm marks and spencers and sins..which is some cool counter with loads of nice looking chocs. then went over to esprit. bought a nice green knitted sweater :) plus two tops and a pouch. heh so happy..my mom was saying tt i dun need to buy any new yr's clothes next yr alr :P

then went back to rg on wed to collect my cert..the whole sch was quite deserted lar. ms christina wasnt there..was hoping to see her. got ms veronica instead..who kinda chided me for coming back at this time when they were so busy with all the sec one stuff and all -.- returned all my long overdue stuff aft tt..which included a blazer i borrowed frm co in sec three and a band skirt :P

met my mom aft tt..did some more x'mas shopping before heading home. the hols are really passing so fast..and i havent even started doing any proper stuff..going for trees' x'mas musical at her church later with yunlin and jung. heard it's going to be four hours long..hope i don't get too hungry in between :P

ikea

my whole family went ikea ytd for lunch. it was super crowded everywhere..had trouble finding an empty table to sit at. ordered tomato spaghetti and meatballs for lunch. the meatballs are very yummy!! plus the chicken wings too..haha

spent time aft lunch walking around ikea buying household stuff..the whole building was very spacious. quite nice to walk around if not for the heaps of people trying to shop at the same time as us. bought some decorative stuff for my room too :)

played mahjong and my grandma aft dinner at home..haha everyone lost to my mom who was the only person who won money. but i didnt really lose much lar..ninety cents only. cuz we didnt play the 'tai' thing so each game was only worth twenty or forty cents. playing tonight again i think..whee :P

x'mas shopping

spent time with my mom today :) went out for lunch with her at compass point. hah then followed her around while she did some x'mas shopping. bought a new turtle keychain frm action city which is damn cute.

heh bought nice gift wrappers and tags too..planning to start wrapping all my x'mas gifts tml. always feel that it is damn fun to wrap x'mas presents. too bad my parents don't wanna set up the x'mas tree this yr..they think it is too troublesome :( dont't even think we will have any family gathering this x'mas :( :(

my whole family is going to the newly opened ikea tml..haha courts is having its official opening tml too. yay! miss the yummy hotdogs frm ikea..always like to overload them with lots of mustard and ketchup :)

dreams

just went swimming in the morning with my bro..haha didnt get alot darker though i swam for abt one hr. twelve laps in total :) it isn't alot actually..wanted to swim more but it was reaching noon so we finished earlier.

had a dream last night. lol. it was really weird cuz i forgot abt my dream when i woke up..but while i was swimming, recollections of the dream just came back to me. actually the dream was nth much..just dreamt tt my dad bought me a new cybershot camera. haha lol had no idea why i dreamt abt tt.

my mom is all mysterious about my x'mas present. lol she refused to tell me what she bought..though she alr bought it even before my bday. i suddenly realized today tt she might have bought me a pair of birkies..but when i asked her she said she didn't. boo so i shall continue with my guessing game :P shall scoot off to continue with weffriddles. m on lvl 17!

stuck

m stuck on lvl 15 of weffriddles now..ahhhh got to the last picture which was brighter than the rest but nothing worked when i substituted the words there in the url -.-

rah! this is making me crazy! haha but i m so proud i got past lvl 14..lol it was pretty hard for me since i know nuts abt url stuff :) yay..but got a hint frm some other forum that it was not in the usual html form before i finally managed to figure out the answer. anybody able to give me more hints? :P

it's almost two am now and i m still not feeling tired. my body clock is seriously warped. hah been sleeping at two-ish this past week and waking up past ten in the morning. feel like a total bum. promised my bro to go to the gym tml morning at nine am..hope i can drag myself out of bed in time. lol he had a hard time waking me up the last time we went to the gym together. must resume my fitness plan tml morning! :) one of the rare times i am feeling so 'on' about exercising..

yawns..feel a little tired now frm staring at the comp for the past hr. shall go off to bed aft finishing my game of msn checkers..heh i seriously suck at it. am losing everytime i play this game :(

boo!

it's raining now. was planning to go swim a few laps with my bro just now. boo. -.-

had quite a busy weekend. went out on sat with grace and xiling to orchard. haven't been there for so long..felt abit out of touch with all the new stuff that are there. walked around wisma and taka before heading to pepperlunch to eat. i was the only one who really ate lar -.- had a beef pepper rice set..which is quite yummy. was super full aft tt..

sanlee came to meet us at around three plus..then we headed to heeren. alot of new shops there! plus the levi's new store was simply huge! with loads of nice jeans too..BUT the stuff there were horribly ex lar. walked around for a bit more before we got quite sian..wanted to go bugis but xiling had to meet her parents for dinner at paragon. so we headed to the starbucks cafe there to rot without buying anything. lol we just pretended tt the leftover drinks at the table were ours. hah. had a great time catching up with the gang..talked abt loads of stuff lar..yay should have another outing soon to celebrate sanlee's bday! hah let's go sentosa! :)

went for jingxuan's comp ytd at the esplanade..met wenhao at the station before heading there to find the recital studio. junxin met us later on. hah so all of us went in to watch the performance..gosh the studio was like eerily quiet when someone is performing lar. i didnt even dare to sneeze or move around too much cuz every single sound that i make seems to resonate through the whole room -.- nearly fell asleep during the first person's performance though..haha but the second player kept me awake though. so me and wenhao concluded tt those tt didnt make us fall asleep is considered zai alr..hah. but jingxuan was like super zai lar. so happy tt u got into the finals! must tell us the results k..hope u liked the flowers and ur belated bday present k!

went to suntec to have dinner at fish and co..had the yummy seafood platter which made me feel very happy. and i actually finished the whole plate of food on my own! think my appetite is growing by the day..wanted to have dessert at andersen's aft tt but was too full so we settled for ben and jerry's ice cream! had the choc chip one..but it was a lil too sweet for me by the time i finished the whole cup. went home aft tt..was quite tired but ended up waiting for my mom to come home aft work at two am. :)

SANLEE and XILING, let's have our baking session at my hse soon!!! my oven is seriously under-used :P

shopping!

went to get sanlee's b-day presents today since it's coming soon this thurs. but met up with angela early in the morning to go to some warehse sale..had to drag myself out of bed lar. hah you better thank me for sacrificing my sleep angela..we reached there five mins before the actual time and had to squeeze in the lift lobby cuz the cruel people in the office refused to open up their doors for us. imagine about a hundred people squeezing in a lift lobby that is one quarter the size of a normal classroom. was quite surprised no one actually fainted frm the suffocating atmosphere..and i had to get jostled around by a few horrible aunties who pushed me away frm the queue so tt they could get in first. that really got me a little peeved..it looks like being civilized is in not in their dictionary at all -.-

and when we got into the venue it was alr packed with loads of people..and us being such noobs had a hard time even getting to the front of the booth to see what was on sale. but the discounts were huge..that explains why everyone was chionging to grab all the stuff. the whole experience wasnt very pleasant but i guess i did learn some insights on the art of shopping during a sale. =P

met grace and xiling aft tt to get sanlee's present frm far east. we bought it in like half an hour so ended up hanging aroung there the whole aftnoon. lol being there really brings back alot of memories frm being in rg. like how we always used to eat at cahaya's aft cca..going for half priced waffles on tues at gelare..shopping at all the shops for concert presents etc. ahhh kinda miss sec sch life..once you move on to jc things just wont be the same anymore. =( don't get me wrong. jc life is really fun. but u just don't do the same stuff as u do in sec sch anymore..feel like going back to rg to visit one of these days.

anyway aft spending the whole aftnoon at far east i bought a nice pair of shoes and some other stuff. hah. m quite happy right now. retail therapy is working for me today. i sound like a total bimbo now. lol..shall scoot off to watch the repeat of the shows on channel u. missed the first screening at eight just now. bye!

getting kinda bored of the holidays alr..have been just slacking the whole month away. all too soon it will be back to sch again. m terribly dreading it =( shall start making a list of the things that i should do to fill up the rest of dec..

1. read thru all the gp bull books
2. read thru electric field notes and finish the tutorial
3. revise h3 math =(
4. read my sat book
5. get xmas prezzies for everyone
6. embark on my stagnant fitness plan

was supposed to start doing proper stuff today but ended up stoning in front of the comp for the whole day..gah shall start on my plan on wed since i will be out tml =P gtg for dinner now..

graduation ceremony

been busy downloading all my songs into itunes..which is taking me the whole night. all my songs were deleted when my comp got resetted =(

went to vivocity ytd..the shops there are nice to shop at. and i didnt know there was a petsafari and daiso on the third floor! there were loads of cheap stuff to buy at daiso lar..but i didnt feel like shopping cuz it was simply too crowded. ate at carl's jr. tried their beef fries and mushroom burger. tasted the same as the mushroom swiss at bk. but the double bacon burger with sourdough bread is really yummy! it's a must-try! hanged out till five plus before going out for dinner with my family aft tt at century square..had jap food. heh been eating junk for the whole of today. o.0 went walking around best denki aft tt to buy some new stuff for the house. sent my phone for repair before heading home cuz there is something wrong with the volume level. i just cant seem to hear the other person talking on the phone even when the volume is at its maximum level in slightly crowded places. gah just gets irritating aft a while..cuz i will end up telling the person who called to sms me instead.

went for my grandma's graduation ceremony at s'pore poly today =] haha she went for this four mth course specially for the elderly sometime this year. yep basically she just learnt yoga, simple math and other stuff.. and she got to go on excusions too. heh almost our whole family went to support her just now! and my grandma looked quite cute in the black graduation uniform =P took lots of photos together there. went for family lunch at one of my aunt's friend restaurant aft tt. the curry there is absolutely yummy!! headed home aft tt. was so tired tt i slept for three hours straight o.0 suffering frm a lack of slp cuz i was watch the asian games on tv last night till 2am. heh.

shall go sign up for sat now..been wanting to sign up but keep forgetting.

ice cream galore!

havent been able to surf the net for the past few days cuz of some problems with my internet explorer. heh. everything is finally back to normal! aft my aunt resetted the whole comp..went marina square today for lunch with my mom and grandma. ate at thai express..ordered lots of food. then went for ice cream at andersen of denmark aft tt..hah the ice cream was really ex but it's much nicer than those at hagen daz or swensen's! the brownie with hot chocolate or the waffles with honey were really yummy..walked around for abit before heading home. going off to watch the new jackie chan vcd now..the one with loads of cute babies in it! toodles!
