early day!

first time i actually reached home so early today! haha got home at twelve plus lar..which is like super early :) havent went home so early in ages..

lessons today were slack..only had two proper lessons plus pe. and we didnt even run or do stuff for pe..just ended up watching a video of our frisbee lessons in the air-conditioned room =P heh. if only every pe lesson could be like that. lol. anyway on a side note..i am hooked on the channel u drama series at seven pm everyday! yes..am trying not to be tempted to watch it everyday lar..and the male lead is super nice! even though jingxuan says i have weird tastes but i still like him all the same :) planning to borrow the dvds frm sanlee aft cts cuz i know tt if i start watching now i can forget about doing any work at all.

am supposed to be mugging right now but i dont feel like starting on my chem notes at all. boo.

weekend

quick recap of how i spent my weekend..spent most of saturday at my cousin's house. had a family gathering over there..did nth much except eat and play with the nine dogs that lived in the backyard. haha yes..can u imagine someone having nine dogs? o.0 and all of them look almost the same..lol they actually started out with three at first before two of them mated and had six more dogs. :P stayed there till abt one-ish cuz my dad was busy playing mahjong upstairs..was falling asleep by the time we headed home.

spent the aftnoon today at my mom's friend house..my bro pang-sehed us and said he didnt wanna go cuz he had to study for his tests tml so i had to go alone with my parents. just stoned there throughout the entire session while my mom chatted with her friends lar..gosh was so glad when my dad decided to drive me home first aft some time. phew.

having a church wedding and dinner to attend to next sat. bleah. almost every weekend is filled with something and i have no time to do what i want. shall stop my whining here. boo.

signing lesson!

feeling absolutely tired now..updating for abit before heading to bed :P just came back frm sign language classes..heh had a two hour course on the basics of sign language. though this is the third time i am actually learning how to sign the alphabets..but that's about all i really know. lol. struggling to rmb all the basic words that i learnt but towards the end of the lesson everything was just seeping through my brain :\

just finished my lesson plans for the tuition curriculum :) haha feel so relieved lar..was chionging the lesson plan out aft i came back. feel so mentally drained now..had to look through the websites to find suitable resources. ahh hope what i came out with was up to scratch lar..meeting up with the rest of the volunteers tml night to discuss about what we did. ahhhh. cip for two consecutive nights is really draining..but oh well it's for a good cause :)

have no idea why i feel so shagged even though its like only the second day of sch aft the long cny break..hah having two more gatherings this sat and sun so my whole weekend is almost filled up. i need some time to myself to just seriously chill out. havent had the time to do so since eons ago.

okay enough of my constant ramblings..shall head off to sleep now aft packing my stuff for tml. my eyes are barely open right now..

happy new year!

slacking at my grandma's hse now..heh my family doesnt really go hse visiting during cny cuz my dad's relatives are mostly in malaysia. so we usually just head over to my grandma's hse on my mom's side everyday..cuz everyone will come here to visit her. hah am quite glad that i am spared frm all the hse visiting tt other pple have to do :P been catching up on alot of sleep these few days..tt's why i am in such a gd mood these few days. not getting enough sleep makes me feel cranky :S

had my reunion dinner ytd night..and my grandma whipped up alot of yummy food. yes and needless to say..i ate till i was super full :P haha..and i played blackjack with my relatives aft tt. but my luck wasnt that good though..lost five bucks in total. must play again soon to recoup my losses! shall update again when i have the time tml..

movie screening

just came back frm my class learning journey trip..went to watch the new jack neo's movie "just follow law" with fann wong and gurmit singh in it. hah the whole show wasnt that good but there were snippets here and there that were quite funny lar..thought it was so amusing to watch fann wong acting as an uncouth man scratching herself at all the wrong places when all she does normally is act in all the pretty roles :P

hah just went to check my sat results..lol my results werent that fantastic but i guess it's okay lar..kinda expected it to be around this range anyway :) having an impromptu class picnic tml..haha am just going to bring whatever i have to eat and sit on the grass patch to watch our class soccer team. yay. a much needed break frm all the hectic schedules and mountains of work to do..and the best part is..my mom is coming back frm paris tml morning! wahahaha..miss her aft not seeing her for two weeks straight :)

my grandma just gave me loads of cny goodies to eat..haha she ordered one whole bottle of pineapple tarts and kueh bankit (the white flour-like biscuit) for me. haha can take my time to finish all the goodies. the neighbours gave us loads of other stuff to eat too..shall turn into a glutton with all these temptations lar -.- okay shall go pack my bag and sleep now. toodles!

boo

finally switched to the new blogger..haha been putting it off for a while now but the whole server is really fast :) a big diff compared to the old one which is seriously laggy.

went to buy vday gifts just now at compass point and it was jam packed with pple lar..haha. loads of stalls selling cny goodies..anw bought like eleven packs of sweets altogether at this shop. haha when i brought it to the counter the cashier must have thought tt i am really weird for buying so much. :P find tt i actually like giving presents more than i like getting them..heh just feel quite nice to be giving instead of taking all the time.

guitar auds results coming out tml i think..*shudders* wish me all the best! sanlee is giving me a swensens' treat if things dont go as expected so i wont feel so bad. am just desperately trying not to get my hopes up and be mentally prepared for any bad news that may come my way..i guess this is better for me. so that i will treasure any piece of good news that may come my way even more :)

i survived!

omg everything i typed was gone in a flash cuz i clicked the link to some other website. grrr so silly of me. now i have to retype everything over again :(

i officially survived guitar auds! though i screwed up the whole thing but i am still glad tt its over lar..was severly stressed and traumatized for the start of this week cuz of this matter. feel so relieved now tt it is over..hah results are coming out this weekend *crosses fingers* sanlee commented tt i sounded like my fingers were having muscle spasms when i was playing this particular section of the song cuz i was too nervous. and overall my playing sounded alot worse frm my usual prac lar..but ah it's over. nth much i can do abt it anymore. and thks sanlee for letting me whine to u the whole journey home! :)

spent the aftnoon making xiling's present..heh dont think she will read this post in time tonight so i guess it's okay to talk abt it :P made a nice board for her with all the pretty trinkets. it looks quite pretty to me. hope she will like it when we celebrate her bday tml! :) gah shall stop procrastinating online and start on my gp hw which is due tml..toodles!

bah

havent had time to blog in ages..been busy with loads of stuff lar. coming here to rant abit before embarking on my guitar practice. had my physics lecture test today..lol and i made a very silly mistake. hah but i had no time to check it thru so i just left it as it is =P having math test and guitar auds tml! am just gonna concentrate on practising on my guitar..so i really hope all my efforts wont go to waste! o.0 hopefully aft tml my life will become more normal. been really stressful and traumatizing these few days cuz of me worrying about how my auds will turn out. get a grip on urself cheryl. sigh.

having a scratchy throat now. its irritating me. just hope i wont get sick. esp not now when so many things are going on. cant wait for the cny long break next week so i can catch a breather frm all the ongoing stuff. heh and i feel like taking part in the amazing race thing next week during the cny celebrations. haha. it sounds fun. yep shall go take out my guitar now and start preparing for tml's auds..wish me luck! :)

whoopee

just manged to finish all the stuff that i was supposed to do..including the lesson plan for the tuition centre :) :) haha hope it isn't too crappy though..feel like i have a huge responsibility to come up with something proper cuz what the kids at the tuition centre learn may just depend on my tiny lesson plan :p

one month has alr passed doubly quickly. slowly adapting to my hectic schedule. hmm have more commitments this yr due to stuff like cip lar..and the childcare reading programme tt i signed up for last yr is starting next mon too. it clashes with my guitar pracs lar..shall see how things go at my auds next wed first before deciding :\ thinking about the looming auds just give me the jitters..cuz i am prolly the worst player in the whole section :( shall just try to practise hard this week and hope for the best lar.

sch today was rather slack..though we spent the whole of econs talking about loads of stuff with ms lee. hah actually most of the convo just revolved around one specific topic..though i shall decline to make any further comments here for safety's sake. found the whole issue quite amusing..amusing how one incident can actually make u appreciate other people tt u nvr appreciated before :) but maybe i was too fast in passing a judgement on tt issue lar..maybe things will work out in the long run. at least that is what i really hope for :S

sending my mom off at the airport tml night..looking forward to the swensens' farewell dinner/supper. what a glutton i am :)
